Acrylic Rotameter is basically a variable area flow meter. The differential pressure across the annulus area is constant and the Flow rate is measured as a function of the position of annulus area. This area is displayed as the position of the Float in terms of flow rate on the scale.

Glass Tube Rotameter are Precision flow measuring instruments designed on the "Variable Area" Rotameter basis using "Tapered Tubes". These instruments are suitable for service with all available fluids including Acids, Alkalies, Corrosive gas and Organic Solvents for Temperature upto 150°C with suitable selection of material.
